Stalin has completely strayed from Anna’s ideals, says Aadhav Arjuna

Speaking at the conference, Aadhav Arjuna said:

“In 1967, Anna introduced the politics of ‘everything for everyone.’ The Dravidian movement itself is rooted in this politics of equality. But M.K. Stalin has completely strayed from Anna’s ideals. Likewise, today’s AIADMK leadership has deviated from the policies of MGR and Jayalalithaa, maintaining ties with the BJP and making every attempt to help the party gain power in Tamil Nadu through the back door.

By embracing the ideals of Anna and MGR and transforming them into political victory, we will create a massive youth revolution in 2026, with Vijay becoming Chief Minister to fulfil those principles.”

Dravidian parties have failed, says TVK functionary Arunraj

Speaking at the conference, TVK functionary Arunraj said; “The Dravidian parties have failed. Perarignar Anna did not accumulate any wealth for his family, in fact, he was in debt. But what is the condition of today’s DMK leaders? If just two more Enforcement Directorate raids take place, they might even say that a coalition government with the BJP is necessary."

"To oppose divisive forces, what we need is an uncompromising policy, and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam is the only hope for that,” he added.

A TVK supporter from Chennai died of a heart attack while attending the party’s State conference in Madurai, according to a Maalaimalar report.

The TVK conference in Madurai has been hailed as a massive success. “We have gathered a large crowd in South Tamil Nadu. The whole of Tamil Nadu has been shaken; this conference in Madurai is a foundation for a strong future. TVK cadres must work with even greater speed,” said N Anand.

Supporters jump barriers onto ramp

As the conference began, party president Vijay walked along the ramp, waving to supporters. At that moment, several volunteers jumped the barricades and rushed onto the ramp, causing commotion.

Bouncers struggled to bring the situation under control.

A few volunteers also managed to click selfies with him.

Vijay pays tribute to party’s ideological leaders, hoists TVK flag

At the conference stage, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) leader Vijay paid tribute by garlanding the portraits of the party’s ideological leaders. He then hoisted the TVK party flag on the pole set up near the stage.

TVK president Vijay walked along the specially arranged ramp to greet supporters. During the procession, he accepted party scarves offered by volunteers and draped them over his shoulders.

TVK chief Vijay made his entry onto the conference stage to the sound of a specially composed song for the event.

A cut-out photo held by the volunteers, showing Vijay and Ajith together at the conference, has gone viral on the internet.

The schedule of events has been released.

While cultural programmes are currently taking place, Vijay is set to arrive on the stage shortly.

Upon his arrival, Vijay will walk the ramp amidst his supporters.

This will be followed by the hoisting of the party flag.

Subsequently, the party’s policy song and flag song will be released, and a pledge will be taken.

After that, the welcome address will be delivered and resolutions will be passed, according to the announcement.
