    Around 100 employees of a private firm gathered at the office of the Commissioner of Police in Vepery demanding justice after the firm allegedly duped them of lakhs of rupees under promise of employment

    Around 320 engineering graduates in total, hailing from different colleges in Andhra Pradesh claim that they still have not received their salaries after joining the firm. The students alleged that the company that cheated them is called Hexone Systems which is based out of Thoraipakkam. 

    “We were contacted by an HR representative offering us a job in the company. We were asked to deposit Rs 40,000 for the training, following a stable job with a salary of Rs 25,000 p.m.

    We have been working there for three months now and we haven’t been paid a salary yet,” says a student from Vijayawada. Most students have even opted for loans in hopes of getting a job. 

    “I paid Rs 40,000 after taking a loan. I was given an offer letter in August but have been living the city without a salary. In fact, some of them even were sent to Mumbai and promised accommodation. But they had to spend the night on the railway platform,” claimed Teja, a complainant, adding that they never got a proper reply from the management when they asked for the salary. 

    They students even handed over one of the company’s staff members, to the police on Feb 6 at Thoraipakkam Police Station.
