What kind of clothes define Fourth Dimension?

The idea is based on the notion that all dimensions in the universe begin with a single point, Dot, and the dimensions it takes to create multi-dimensional forms. We have named the collection ‘Fourth Dimension’ to convey a message that in an age dominated by technology, the touch of human skills   is the fourth dimension to 3D patterns (3D-printing). The collection engages dialogue of opposites, where sheer and opaque, drape and structure play an important role in the juxtaposition of different elements and shapes.

You’re one of the few designers to have refrained from having celebs walk the ramp for your shows often. Was it a conscious decision?

Honestly, apart from it being the sponsor’s prerogative, I personally feel that more often than not the celebrity takes away the focus from the collection. Although a celebrity buying your outfit might add to your brand, but in a 15-minute show the focus has to be on your product.

    What are your future projects?

The profit sharing in the fashion industry today is such that the producers of the garments, the weavers, hardly get 20 per cent of the actual money we make. So, in a bid to ensure that craftsmen get their due, we will embark on a project that will not only reduce this disparity in income but also employ about 10 million workers also from the most interiors regions of the country. All garments will be completely hand-made.
