Begum (36), a resident of Sathya Gardens, Fourth Street, KK Nagar, alleged that 100 sovereigns of gold kept inside a bureau in her house was missing. The K K Nagar police visited the house and found no doors or locks broken.

“When we conducted our investigation, we didn’t find any signs of forced entry. But they claim gold ornaments are missing. The theft might have been carried out by one of the family members,” police said.
