Vijayakant to hit campaign trail from tomorrow
DMDK founder and actor-politician Vijayakant, who was projected as the chief ministerial candidate of the PWF-DMDK combine for the May 16 assembly election, would hit the campaign trail from Monday.

He would start his campaign by addressing a meeting at Gummidipoondi in Tiruvallur district.
Releasing the first phase of his campaign schedule, a DMDK release here on Saturday said Vijayakant would address about 12 meetings during the campaign that would continue till April 17 covering more than 50 constituencies in the districts of Chennai, Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur, Vellore and Tiruvannamalai.
A mega rally of the DMDK-PWF combine would be organised at suburban Maamandur on Sunday evening in which all the top leaders of the alliance would participate and candidates would be introduced.
Earlier this week, the chief ministerial candidate of PMK, Anbumani Ramadoss, questioned the whereabouts of Vijayakant. The PMK scion said that the DMDK leader was missing a day after clinching alliance with the PWF.
