BJP leaders flag off 50 propaganda vans for TN polls
A day ahead of BJP president Amit Shah's Tamil Nadu tour, party leaders flagged off 50 propaganda vans today to cover all 234 constituencies in the state with an eye on the May 16 Assembly elections.

Fitted with LED screens, the vans seek to 'expose' the 'misrule' of the AIADMK and DMK in the past nearly 50 years.
"These propaganda vans will expose the misrule of the Dravidian parties," senior state BJP leader and Union Minister Pon Radhakrishnan told reporters after flagging off the vans together with his party colleagues.
BJP state unit chief Tamilisai Soundararajan alleged that both 'AIADMK and DMK had done nothing for the people of the state'. She said her party propaganda would drive home the need for good governance in Tamil Nadu.
Of the total 234 constituencies, BJP has allotted 45 to its ally Indiya Jananayaga Katchi, 24 to Akila Indiya Makkal Kalvi Munnetra Kazhagam and one to Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam.
The saffron party is set to contest in the rest of the constituencies and it has already announced candidates for 84 seats.
