Want to be inventor: Ajish
It was a day of joy and celebration for Ajish Sekar, who shared the all-India third rank with a score of 495 marks in CBSE Class 12 examination this year.

Ajish Sekar, a student of Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan (PSBB) Senior Secondary School, K K Nagar in the city, wants to study computer engineering at IIT, Madras. It was his childhood dream to invent something new in computers.
“I would like to thank my teachers, parents and friends for their support. I have achieved this success by being attentive in the class, besides following teachers’ advice,” he said, adding that would get into software development.
He has scored 100 in Mathematics, Physics (99), Chemistry (99), Computer Science (99) and English (98). Ajish’s mother pointed out that her son used to study for three to fours daily at home. He has also been undergoing coaching for Joint Entrance Exam (Main and Advanced).
Though several students feel the Maths paper was tough, the topper said he practised well with several model question papers and worked out numerous problems and that gave him enough confidence in the exam.
