Rajan Babu, a Class 9 student, tied two ropes in his mouth and pulled the car at an event organised by King Riser Yoga and Skating Trust, conducted near Vishwakarma Higher Secondary School. Police officials and politicians congratulated him after the event.

Rajan Babu pulled the sedan to a distance of 100 m, completing the task. Following the record he claimed that earlier vehicles were pulled using roller skates, but none of the records were set using inline skates as he had now done.

He had toiled and practiced hard for the event and successfully pulled the car, his next aim being to cover a much greater distance and try the same feat, using much heavier vehicles.

Skating coach Suresh said that inline skating was much tougher than roller skating as in inline skating, the wheels were in a single line, while in roller skates, the wheels were located on both sides, giving greater balance. He lauded Rajan Babu’s focused practice and hard work in achieving the record.
