Disabled denied admission for Plus One
A differently-abled student who had completed SSLC had been denied admission at a government higher secondary school for her disability.

Madurai
The student Divya(15), daughter of Tirupathi, from Mettunirathan village in Madurai district, affected by Cerebral Palsy and is certified 65 percent differently-abled had scored more than 75 percent marks in SSLC. But now she is denied admission in a government higher secondary school and hence had knocked the doors of Collectorate.
Tirupathi claimed that there is no government higher Secondary school in their village and hence her daughter had to go to government girls higher secondary school at Madurai.
When the Head Master was approached the seat at the school was denied and the permission of Chief Education Officer(CEO) was sought for admission. When the CEO was approached he had directed them to Collector.
On June 8, when Collector was met Collector had ordered the CEO to give permission. Hence CEO was approached but in the office it was mentioned that no such letter from Collector had reached CEO office and the staff had insulted the family.
Hence they do not have any option other than to knock the doors of Collectorate once again. Divya is eager to study but June 23 is the last date for admission. If the date crosses she would not be admitted in the school. Hence immediate action should be taken and his daughter should be admitted in the school demanded Tirupathi.
