Makeover Magic: College student gets dramatic transformation for special date

When Dimple, a 19-year-old college student walked into the salon, she wanted to get a chic transformation for a date. The style experts decided to turn her into a stylish and glamourous diva for her special evening. Post analysing her wheatish skin tone, sharp jawline and combination skin type, they opted to give her a holography makeup look with cut crease technique. Holography makeup offers plenty of possibilities and helps the skin look luminous. Adding shimmering highlighters aesthetically on the brow bone, cheek bones, chin and T zone is the key to nailing this look. Cut crease eye makeup is a technique that contrasts eye shadow colour in the crease of the eye for a sharp defined look. 

One can add extra shimmer to enhance the eye. It is a technique done by adding a contrasting shadow across the indent of the eyelids thus drawing focus to the eye. The makeup began with cleansing, toning and moisturising Dimple’s face to hydrate her skin. Post this, a primer was used to cover up the open pores. An under eye colour corrector was used to cover her dark circles and foundation was applied to give a smooth yet natural finish. Compact powder was then applied on the face with the help of a powder brush to help set the base of the makeup. Post setting the base, the T-zone, chin area and cheekbones were contoured and highlighted to sharpen her facial features. Feathery strokes were drawn over the eyebrows with the help of a dark brown eyebrow pencil. 

For the eyelids, a mix of dark pink and purple shades of eye shadow was applied on the outer lids of the eyes, while a shade of white shimmer was applied on the inner corner of the eyelids to give it a cut crease look. Artificial lashes were added to complete the look, while white metallic kohl was applied on the waterline thus instantly brightening her eyes. A dark shade of pink blush was applied on the apples of her cheeks to add glam quotient to her face. The white shimmer highlighter was applied on the forehead, t-zone, cheekbones and chin to complete the holographic look. A nude pink lipstick was applied on the lips drawing focus back to the eyes. 

The metallic finish makeup was set with a fixing spray. The overall look was complemented with a dramatic hairdo. The hair was curled with tongs and was tied up in a pretty updo with side bangs. The hairstyle was set with a fixing spray. Dimple thus walked out looking like a diva.
