Rashmika chooses Bollywood over Vijay 64

While Shahid Kapoor will reprise Nani’s role, Rashmika Mandanna will be seen as his wife — a role played by Shraddha Srinath in the original. The remake is said to be produced by Jersey’s original maker Dil Raju. “The film will go on floors in the first week of November and the script has been tweaked a little to suit the Hindi sensibilities.” In one of the earlier interviews, Rashmika had said that it is her dream to share screen space with Vijay. However, it looks like she has much bigger dreams now.
