Vaman, Priyanga crowned aquathlon champions
Vaman of the SDAT Velachery and Priyanga Pugazharasu of TS Narayanswami Club emerged the U-15 boys’ and girls’ winners at the end of two-day State Aquathlon championship organised by the Tamil Nadu Triathlon Association here on Sunday.

In the U-12 section, the respective winners were Mourish of Anna Swimming Pool and Mouna Sri of Tamil Nadu Swimming Parents Association. The two-sport event (swimming and running) organised at the SDAT Nehru Park witnessed a record of over 100 participants in both age categories.
For the U-12 section, the requirements were 200m swimming and two km running and for the U-15 section distances were 400m swimming followed by three km run. The Secretary of the Tamil Nadu Olympic Association, JM Fernando gave away the medals, trophies, cash prizes and certificates.
