Vijay Shankar named Tamil Nadu captain
The Tamil Nadu squad for the Vijay Hazare Trophy was announced by the State Selection Committee of the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association here on Tuesday.

Middle-order batsman and Indian international Vijay Shankar was named as the captain of the side. After his stellar showing in the Tamil Nadu Premier League Season 3, mystery spinner CV finds a place in the 15-man squad. T Natarajan, who missed most part of the last season due to injury, will be a part of the team’s pace battery. S Sharun Kumar is the new-comer in the outfit. The one-day competition will be held between September 19 and October 11.
Squad: Vijay Shankar (Captain), Abhinav Mukund, Baba Aparajith, Baba Indrajith, M Kaushik Gandhi, B Anirudh Sita Ram, N Jagadeesan (Wicket-keeper), K Vignesh, T Natarajan, Rahil S Shah, R Sai Kishore, CV Varun, S Sharun Kumar, M Shahrukh Khan and M Mohammed.
