Pro Kabaddi League: Haryana Steelers steal the show against Dabang Delhi
Haryana Steelers notched up its fifth win in Pro Kabaddi Season 6 as it got the better of Dabang Delhi with a 34-27 scoreline at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex here on Sunday.

Haryana remains fifth in the Zone A leaderboard with 31 points from 15 games while Delhi stays fourth with a tally of 34 points from 13 matches. Steelers’ Vikas Kandola was the star of the night, &racking up nine points.
Though Naveen Kumar (10 points) and defender Ravinder Pahal (5 points) had a good day at the office, Delhi couldn’t emerge victorious and had to settle for a solitary point. The contest was even-stevens at 4-4, with both teams circumspect in their approaches. Delhi had a slim one-point lead during the halfway stage of the opening 20 minutes.
Only three points separated the sides going into the break, with the scoreline reading 13-10 in Haryana’s favour. No one apart from Naveen got a single raid point for Delhi in the first half. A bulk of the contribution came from its corner combination of Pahal and Joginder Narwal.
Steelers started the second half on a strong note, collecting four points in the first couple of minutes. It forced the first all-out of the match in the 26th minute as the gulf between the two teams started to widen. Steelers held a comfortable nine-point advantage as the fixture headed to its conclusion. Both teams exchanged trading blows, but Haryana made sure it had its lead intact and secured a win.
