BCCI Women: Meek surrender by Tamil Nadu women
Bengal completed a huge 215-run triumph over Tamil Nadu in the BCCI Women (Under-23) Elite Group ‘A’ One-Day match at the Lalbhai Contractor Stadium in Surat.

Bengal won the toss and elected to have a bat first. Tanusree Sarkar (88) and Prativa Rana (89) added 152 runs for the third wicket and propelled their side past the 300-run mark. In the second innings, Tamil Nadu fell cheaply, folding up for a paltry 88 in 41.4 overs. Deepti Sharma was the winner’s best bowler, taking four wickets for nine runs.
