Local League: Manan, Siva strike centuries

Continuing on its overnight score of 293 for two, Nelson added 362 runs for the loss of five wickets on the second day, courtesy centuries from Manan and Siva. While Manan’s innings was laced with 12 boundaries and two sixes, Siva smashed 11 fours and two maximums during his knock. 

In another match at the IC Guru Nanak College Ground, India international Abhinav Mukund (114 retired hurt) scored a hundred to help Vijay post 280 for six against Young Stars. Vijay now has a tiny lead of three runs at stumps on day two. K Srikar Bharat (122) completed his ton as MRC ‘A’ was bowled out for 478 in the first innings against Jolly Rovers.
